Summer is getting closer every day, although in most of Spain the high temperatures make it feel like it's already here. And, as every year, summer brings with it the desire to enjoy life to the fullest. So, we're getting a head start with these 5 tips to help you avoid feeling like you've wasted the most golden season of the year when September arrives.
1. Open yourself up to new experiences
Summer is the time of year when we feel most free, whether it's because we had vacations as children or because the heat inspires us to have fun at every turn. But if you want to enjoy it to the fullest, you have to go a little further than usual and allow yourself to break with everything. Try something new, treat yourself, or several treats, carry out that plan that's been on your mind for so long but that you never got around to, or on the contrary, go for the first idea that pops into your head. At this time of year, anything goes, so don't spend all day sunbathing—there's a whole world to discover out there!

2. Try a new sport
Following on from the previous advice, a great way to do this is to try a new sport. And since it's summer, even better if it's a water sport. At this time of year, most of us find ourselves closer to the sea than usual. 4. Put on some lotion!
We don't want to sound like your mom at the beach when you were five, but as strange as it may sound, yes, she was right. In summer, we tend to extend our schedules and be a little more disorganized than usual; we relax and sometimes forget something important. But we must be very careful. If we want to enjoy our sunny adventures, we have to protect ourselves, so never leave your sunscreen at home.
